RAIPUR: Two pilots were killed at Raipur airport after a helicopter belonging to Chhattisgarh government crashed at a runway at Raipur’s Swami Vivekanand Airport on Thursday night.
While there were no passengers on board, the two pilots sustained severe injuries and were rushed to a private hospital, where they were declared dead.

Raipur SSP Prashant Agrawal confirmed TOI that two pilots Captain Panda and Captain Shrivastava died at Raipur’s Swami Vivekananda airport.
According to preliminary information, the helicopter crashed while the crew was conducting a night flying training on the runway of the airport around 9pm.
The chopper crashed while landing on the rear end of the runway, leaving both the pilots severely injured causing their death.
